Nando’s Malaysia has made an official statement that one of their part-time crew members from Nando’s Palm Mall has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus on 9 October 2020.
Nando’s immediately closed the restaurant for thorough cleaning and sanitising after receiving the notice from the Ministry of Health and all crew members that were present during the shift have been asked to quarantine and sent for testing. The official announcement wrote,
“We knew the risk our Nando’s family members face being on the frontlines and despite our best efforts to keep everyone safe, this news still comes as a shock. However, with months of preparation, we’re now better equipped to respond to this and wish speedy recovery to our crew member and his loved ones.”
Nando’s has also urged those who have visited Palm Mall within the time frame to stay safe and stay at home while waiting to hear from MOH based on the MySejahtera contact tracing procedures.
