Najib paid a surprise visit to an Indian Restaurant, Sri Mayuri in Shah Alam last Friday.
His visit was shared on his official Facebook account, where he writes:
“Saya kini berada di Restoran Sri Mayuri, Shah Alam, untuk bertemu dan mendengar kisah kejayaan beberapa usahawan kaum India yang menerima bantuan daripada kerajaan bagi memajukan perniagaan mereka.”
His Facebook post indicates that he went to meet and listen to these Indian business owners to learn how the government helped them grow their business through tabung TEKUN dan Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM).
Right after posting about his visit, the post received a lot of positive comments, especially with the motion of using the hashtag #RespectMyPM.
Most Malaysians showed their skepticism, arguing that these were commented by fake accounts to boost his morale.
The accounts posted were definitely a little shady because
1. Their profiles were all protected.
2. Their last posts on their Facebook was on 8th April – when the post was posted.
A big coincidence perhaps? Some people didn’t think so.
What do you guys think? Were those real people showing support to our dear beloved PM?
