A bus lost control and overturned in Hulu Selangor on July 14, reportedly due to a suspected brake failure.
According to Berita Harian, the incident took place at around 11:30 AM along Jalan Tulip 3 in Bukit Sentosa.

The bus was carrying 3 passengers
Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent Ibrahim Husin, said police received a report about the accident at around 11:30 AM, involving a 57-year-old male bus driver and three passengers aged 38, 17, and 9.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the bus was travelling from KTM Serendah Station to Bukit Sentosa.
“After picking up three passengers at the Serendah Health Clinic bus stop, the bus lost control while navigating a bend along Jalan Tulip 3. It’s believed that a brake issue caused the driver to lose control, causing the bus to veer off and overturn on the left side of the road,” he said.
All three passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to Selayang Hospital for treatment, while the bus driver was unharmed.

The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
Ibrahim also urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
