In the meantime, pictures of the blackout in 1 Utama Shopping Mall also circulated on social media, and according to Sin Chew, the power supply was cut off around 11 in the morning. The employees of respective stores were seen sitting outside the premises while waiting for the electricity to be restored.

Electric supply fully restored by 12:15 PM

In less than 2 hours, TNB Careline, through another Facebook post, shared that the electric supply in the affected Petaling Jaya areas had been fully restored. Fortunately, those in 1 Utama Shopping Mall did not have to wait long, as the power supply was fully restored by 12:15 PM.

Other malls in Petaling Jaya, such as The Curve, The Starling Mall, IOI Mall Damansara, and IKEA, did not address the power cut.

To those who work or stay in the areas, did you experience the power cut this morning? How long did it take before the electric supply came back?
