Perikatan Nasional(PN)’s leader Muhyiddin Yassin met up with leaders from Gabungan Parti Sarawak(GPS) and the Malaysian Islamic Party(PAS) to discuss the forming of a new government.
According to Muhyiddin Yassin, the two leaders, YAB Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Haji Openg, Premier of Sarawak and chairperson of GPS, and YB Tan Sri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang, President of PAS have visited him to discuss forming a new federal government.

“Negotiations are also ongoing with other uniting parties and independent parliamentarians. Insha Allah, the federal government will be formed in the near future,” he added in his statement.
