The traffic in Klang Valley is NO JOKE, and we don’t know how else we can emphasise this to the lucky Malaysians who don’t need to brace through Klang Valley traffic every day.

Just recently, a “discussion” on X emerged after a user, @wanafiq took to his social media and posed a question about the hectic traffic.

“Which highway has the worst traffic during peak hours, when you go to work and return home from work?”

Netizens have different responses to his tweet based on their respective experiences and locations but there is one particular answer that stood out the most, and you’re not a real Klang Valley person if you have never braced through the nightmarish traffic on this highway.

“This highway is built for its traffic”

Fellow Malaysians, we present to you and as ranked by most of the netizens – Federal Highway!

Jalan Sesak

The highway has been “voted” as the highway with the worst traffic during peak hours, and netizens had their own ways of describing the traffic.

“Federal Highway. This place is built for its traffic.”

“Nowhere else, of course, is NPE Highway from Bangsar, and Federal Highway.”

“Federal. The traffic starts as early as 6:30 am from Shah Alam.”

“Definitely the Federal. Imagine the traffic even without tolls.”

“Of course, it’s the Federal Highway, and it doesn’t have a specific time. From Shah Alam to Subang Jaya, it takes a long time too!”

“Federal. With or without toll, it’s just the same. The causes of the traffic remain a mystery.”

“It’s Pasir Gudang highway if it’s in JB. Once the congestion starts, every angle will feel its effect.”

“If I could only choose 1, it’s definitely the Federal. Sometimes the traffic congestion happens at 2 or 3 in the morning.”

You can go through the myriad of answers in the tweet below.

Fellow Klang Valley “soldiers”, what do you think of the traffic on Federal Highway that you have to go through every day? If it isn’t Federal highway for you, which highway has the worst traffic for you?
