The phrase “If you want a rainbow, you have to deal with the rain” conveys the idea that one may reach prosperity through hardship. But did you know that rainbows in itself represent a sign of hope and beauty?

A few Malaysian travellers were lucky enough to come across such a beautiful sight after making a trip to a scenic spot in Kota Belud, Sabah, known as Peranggi View Point. Encapsulated in lush greenery and mountains for miles and miles, the sights are as beautiful as they are aesthetically pleasing.

In a clip posted by travel agency @northborneotrip to their TikTok page, the visitors on one day managed to catch not just one, but two rainbows in the sky. Clad in jackets and long-sleeved clothing, the surrounding of the area seemed to have just passed a rainy period, with some grey still lurking in the sky.

Capturing images of their moment at the view point, these fortunate visitors got the chance to take selfies, snapshots, and videos of not just the immaculate mountains, but also the multicoloured arches that decided to pay them a visit for the moment.

The striking visual of the rainbows could be seen from where it began, at the top of a nearby hill.

In awe of the beauty of the rainbows and the views, many Malaysians expressed their intent to visit the site in the future, expressing how magical it would be to witness the natural occurrence first-hand.
