In a recent widely-shared tweet from user @MALAYSIAVIRALLL, a family is shown attempting to swim ashore following an accident. The details of how the accident occurred remain uncertain at this time.

Close to the Bukit Besi toll, the distressed family could be heard urgently seeking assistance when they accidentally fell into the water next to the road.

In the video, it can be seen that the river water is rising because of the rainy monsoon season, revealing hidden dangers. The family urgently asked for help when their baby became unconscious after drowning, seeking assistance from bystanders.

The concerned lady who shot the video went above and beyond by actively seeking help and asking people around if they knew how to perform CPR.

The scary incident has Malaysians worried, especially since there’s no information about the baby’s current condition.

“Does anyone know the current condition of the baby? Is the baby safe?”

“For drowning cases, the first thing you should remember is to administer rescue breaths five times. After that, check the airway and breathing, and proceed to compression if needed.”

“From what I know, before performing CPR on both infants and adults, you should lay them down on a flat surface. May everything be at ease.”

We sincerely hope that the family is doing well. We’d like to extend a friendly reminder to everyone else to exercise extra caution and ensure your safety on the roads, particularly during this rainy season.
