Travelling to Japan to see the romantic sakura flowers when they are in bloom is one of the things that are on most people’s bucket lists. Sometimes you scroll through social media looking at other people’s beautiful photographs with the sakura flowers and can’t help but envy them.
Flying to Japan can get rather expensive but while you are saving up for your holiday, you can also see sakura in Malaysia. What, where?! There will be an event held at the KL Eco Ardence Sales Gallery in Setia Alam known as ‘Taste of Japan’ and it comes complete with magnificent sakura flowers.
According to a Facebook post, the event was previously held in other states such as Penang and Johor but at last, it has arrived in the Klang Valley. Not only will you be able to see the gorgeous sakura blooms but there will also be about 60 stalls selling mouthwatering Japanese food. So that you literally get a taste of Japan!
Some of the tempting food that will be available during this event includes rainbow cheese toast, takoyaki, super long and crunchy fries, colourful drinks, and so much more. Oishii neh! This event will be taking place this weekend from 9 September to 10 September starting from 3pm to 10pm.
Best of all, admission to this event is totally FREE! There will also be performances, costumed mascots and so much more to do there. You can take all the photos you want and pretend that you are in Japan!
