It is no wonder that more and more restaurants from different locations are surfacing, teaching a thing or two of what true roti canai should look like.

Realising the need to school some local establishments on boss-level roti canai making, @fvkhrie took to twitter to share a video of a girl working her magic to churn out our favourite dish in Melbourne!

The 1-minute video which has garnered more than 8.6k retweets witnessed netizens singing praises with their comments on how good it must taste due to the expert artistry.

One netizen commented, “The way she stretches the dough out confirms that you will not taste the flour in it.”

Another took a stab at local establishments stating that the roti canai served here are not freshly made anymore.

“Restaurants here are much ‘better’. They can bring you your roti canai even before you order one.”

Despite some arguing that the video was taken in China, the video was in fact taken at Mamak, an award-winning Malaysian restaurant based in Melbourne.

Should our restauranteurs improve their roti canai game? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below.
