More often than not, finding out that your partner is cheating on you and having an affair can be a distressing and heartbreaking situation.

But for one Malaysian woman, finding out that her husband has a mistress has surprisingly brought her relief.

Taking to the SecretsMY Twitter page, the 32-year-old woman anonymously asked if she was weird for feeling relieved upon finding out that her husband is having an affair, as she does not have to please‘ his ‘needs.

She wrote, “I caught my husband cheating. And of course, I was mad. He cheated on me with someone else’s wife on top of it. We argued and he told me everything, from where they know each other and to where they always have sex at. They met each other from the ‘MiChat’ app and apparently, the girl’s workplace is near his.”

“They frequently have lunch together and have ‘quickies‘ sometimes. He told me everything.”

Though, despite the initial shock, she started to feel… less angry after processing things.

“But strangely enough, I wasn’t that mad. It has been months and they still meet up and all. But, I’m not angry anymore. My husband is okay. He has a great job and all. He provides me with more than enough. Nothing has changed. His attitude and all are still the same. It’s just that I know he’s having an affair.”

“I know what they’re doing does not involve feelings at all. I just know,” she explained.

She offered clarification that perhaps she’s fine with it because he has ‘needs‘ that she doesn’t want to fulfill

“Maybe I am just relieved that there is someone who is helping to ‘satisfy‘ my husband. Since my husband has indeed told me that he wants more sexually, but I just can’t.”

“My husband does do all the housework. He is the one who gets our son ready everyday. He cleans the house. We’ve never cooked at home because my husband is always buying food from outside as I’m not good at cooking. But yeah, he’s cheating on me. But like I said, I’m not angry. I’m relieved that there’s someone who is helping to ‘please‘ him,” she wrote.

She added a quick question, “Am I not normal?”

Well, to each their own, we guess.
