Some things may be affordable to us, but for some people, they can only afford to see and wish they have it.

Just yesterday (14 February), a teacher shared a heartwarming conversation with her student via her TikTok account. The conversation took place during the Pendidikan Jasmani lesson when students are out in the field playing sports. However, a male student without proper sports attire is seen sitting all by himself by the field while watching his friends in action.

The teacher approached him and asked why is he not in the sports attire and sadly, it is revealed that his parents could not afford to get him one.

“I cannot afford, teacher. I’m embarrassed.”

Regardless, the student, known as Putra, was asked by the teacher to wait in the school’s koperasi at recess time so she can get him a couple of new t-shirts.

The student nodded and joined the others on the field in his school uniform.

“Putra always sits alone during PE time. He will just watch the others,” the teacher explained.

Putra gets his new shirts!

During recess time, the teacher met Putra at the school’s koperasi & asked him to try on the shirts that fit his size. In the meantime, she also advised Putra to not skip class anymore and attend school as scheduled. Putra thanked the teacher and agreed to the advice.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the teacher revealed that Putra often skips class in the past, hence the reminder. She knows that Putra has family issues back at home, but she had never approached him and asked further.

However, she noticed that Putra is a talented football player and she would love to see him being active on the field by doing what he’s good at. In case you don’t know, she is the same teacher who treated 30 students to KFC as most of them had never tried it.

At the time of writing, netizens have expressed their feelings on the incident and most of them are thankful to the teacher who is generous enough to get Putra what he needed.

“I hope he turns out to be someone good and contribute to the people. It’s fine if you don’t do well academically, just don’t turn bad. Thank you, teacher.”

“You are so kind. I like how you speak to him and I can hear that you’re considering his feelings as well. Thank you teacher for your concern on the students.”

In the latest TikTok post of her, it is revealed that there is someone from Langkawi who wishes to sponsor Putra a whole set of football attire.

Little things like these can mean everything to some people. In the meantime, it also serves as a reminder to us that we should be grateful for everything that we have in this world.
