Choosing the wrong partner in marriage can be like stepping into a nightmare, especially when you’ve put everything into making sure they’re happy and taken care of, only to end up dealing with unexpected problems and letdowns. And we can only express sympathy for what seems like so much bad luck.

In a recent confession shared by @meinmokhtar, an anonymous man recounts his heartbreaking experience of giving everything a woman could ever ask for, only to discover that she had been cheating on him and hiding a dark secret.

He gave her everything she could ever wanted

Syafiq (pseudonym) revealed that before marrying his wife, her father requested a RM23K dowry, which he lovingly collected himself to fulfill her family’s wishes.

After marriage, she expressed her desire to focus on her career before having children, a decision he wholeheartedly respected.

“I took care of all the cooking and household chores myself. Despite that, she couldn’t manage to cook for me even once a week. I also gave her separate money for shopping, while I covered all the household bills and expenses from my own earnings. Additionally, I provided her with a car and a house.”

“I would always take her out on dates and surprise her with flowers”

Despite Syafiq giving her all his attention and being the ideal husband, she still chose to have an affair with a coworker in her office.

“She told me that the reason she did it was because I couldn’t satisfy her sexually. Despite my efforts to try all sorts of medicines, traditional massages, and even using pumps to improve my performance in bed, she still chose to have an affair.”

Despite all this, he chose to stay with her and continued to love her. In an effort to mend their marriage, he even took his wife to marriage counseling 3 times already.

After the incident, he decided it was best for his wife to resign from her job and become a housewife. She requested an allowance of RM300 per week in protest, but he fulfilled it by working 2 jobs anyway.

His wife’s deepest, darkest secret was revealed

Over time, Syafiq recounted how he and his wife received unexpected news when she became pregnant with twins, their 1st children together.

He continued to explain that upon discovering her pregnancy, his wife had no intention of keeping the babies, leading her to order abortion pills online behind his back.

“I discovered the abortion pills when the package arrived at our house, and I was the one who opened it. Upon realising its contents, I confronted her, expressing my desire to raise our babies instead of aborting them. In response, she threatened to harm herself if I interfered. But I managed to persuade her to change her mind.”

She secretly applied for a job based in Singapore.

After giving birth to their beautiful twins, Syafiq revealed that he allowed her to start working again, and she secretly applied for a job that required her to be based in Singapore.

“She only told me about the job when she received the offer letter. I felt hopeless at that point and just accepted whatever she wanted to do. If I had refused to let her go, her family might accuse me of being controlling.”

He continued to share how his wife would only return home once every 2 to 3 months, leaving him to raise their children alone.

“I’ve come to a point where I feel like there’s no use stopping her from doing anything. For now all I can do is focus on my children and hope that I remain strong through this tough times.”
