Malaysia’s talented digital creator, Mohamad Sofian, popularly known as Sofyank @sofyank96, has recently unveiled the Hollywood stars he will be collaborating with for an exciting project. After teasing his followers with hints of an upcoming VFX project involving international celebrities, Sofyank has finally revealed that he will be shooting a video effect with none other than Chris Hemsworth and Sam Hargrave for Extraction 2.
Taking to his TikTok and other social media platforms, Sofyank shared an intriguing photo that immediately caught the attention of his fans and followers.
In the photo, he can be seen holding a file related to Netflix’s highly anticipated film, Extraction 2. On his right hand, he showcases side-by-side images of the renowned actor Chris Hemsworth and the talented director Sam Hargrave.
Chris Hemsworth is a globally recognised Australian actor who has gained immense popularity for his portrayal of Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His charismatic presence and remarkable acting skills have made him a favourite among audiences worldwide.
Sam Hargrave, on the other hand, is a skilled director known for his work on the first Extraction film, which received critical acclaim for its intense action sequences and compelling storytelling.
In his social media post, Sofyank expressed his gratitude and excitement, saying,
“Bismillah, the answer for today’s video is Chris! God willing, in a little while, if there are no obstacles or hindrances, I will shoot one video effect together with Chris Hemsworth and Sam Hargrave. This time, I am very, very nervous because I will be shooting with both of them at once. Pray that I don’t stutter and that the shooting goes smoothly.”
Sofyank also shared a handwritten message from Tyler Rake, the character played by Chris Hemsworth in Extraction 2. The message revealed that the shoot would take place from June 4th to 6th in Manila, Philippines, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.
Extraction 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the action-packed film Extraction. The story revolves around Tyler Rake, played by Chris Hemsworth, a skilled military operative who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue the family of a ruthless gangster. The film promises adrenaline-pumping action and intense storytelling that will captivate audiences. Extraction 2 is set to premiere on Netflix, 16th of June.
