According to a statement shared by Ampang Jaya District Police, the situation arose when the 24-year-old woman refused to continue her relationship with the 31-year-old man.

He broke the glass door with a dumbbell

Mohd Azam said the suspect entered the house by breaking the back glass door with a dumbbell, then went into the living room while shouting the woman’s name.

The statement also revealed that the victim went into her room and hid in the bathroom as she called the police. At the same time, the suspect tried to break down the room door with a dumbbell but failed.

“The suspect then sneaked into the room through the balcony by breaking the window and threatened the victim before leaving.”
