Fishing is arguably one of the most difficult hobbies there is to pursue, let alone master. So when you’ve finally got a bite and caught one of your own, the only thing that may put a damper on that instance is having someone take it away – or something, for that matter.
A recent TikTok clip has been making waves online after TikTok user and agriculture farm owner Rozi Ramli posted a moment to his account @mohdroziramli81 of his children fishing from a pond at Aqilee Agro Farm in Hulu Langat.
At the beginning, the surroundings seem to be fairly regular in nature, with Rozi’s son using a net to scoop a couple of fishes from the pond. However, while the young boy is attempting to do so, a couple of cats can be seen standing not even two inches away, ready to see what he pulls out from the water.
As soon as the kid lifts his net, successfully getting the two fishes inside of it, do the cats use their claws to try and scratch the meshwork of the net and tear it.
Attempting to break it, the cats eagerly eye the fishes. While Rozi’s son pulls the net away from the cats initially, Rozi can then be heard in the background telling his son to give the fishes to the cats.
Without hesitating, the boy lets each fish loose from the net, allowing the cats to take both of them before heading on their way. Feeling accomplished, the video ends with Rozi’s son walking closer to the pond, likely to try and get a catch he can keep for himself this time.
Many Malaysians praised the Rozi’s son for cleverly catching the fish in the pond. Others were also amused by the two cats that were standing by and eager to take the fresh catch.
“Those two are real busybodies looking at the fish!” light-heartedly wrote one user.
Nevertheless, multiple people also commended the boys for being so willing to give the fish to the hungry cats.
“It is nourishment for the two cats, meant to be; Two cats, two pieces of fish,” penned another user.
