“Attacked by a rat in #GSC Hall 2…during movie time” — Now this is the last sort of review you want to see ever.

In a Facebook post by user Alans Ng, he shared his horrifying rat attack that rudely interrupted his screening of Ghostbusters at GSC Dataran Pahlawan, Malacca.

On his post, Alans recalled how him and his partner could not enjoy the movie because everyone was on alert ‘for the predator rat’.

“How come there is a rat in GSC cinema hall? It attacks guest, keep running around in row A to C, stealing food. It threatened all guests on row A and B.”

As if stealing one’s food wasn’t enough, the rat actually scratched people! Alan’s partner was one such victim of the aggressive rodent, and the scratch was deep enough to have bled through!

“Wound and very pain [sic]… shouldn’t go there today.”

“We paid to enjoy a good show, not for a rat.” Alans concludes.

Malaysians who saw his post quickly shared their concern to Alans, urging him to go see a doctor in case the rat carried germs/diseases.

One wrote, “Rats are vectors for disease… and the management would have been required by law to deal with pest control. make sure you see a doctor on it.”

Apparently GSC has contacted Alans and offered to pay for his medical fees in this unfortunate event. Let’s hope that’s the end of the rat situation.
