MOH: 82 New Covid-19 Positive Cases Today, 168 Recovered & Another New Cluster In Semporna, Sabah

There are 83 new positive cases in Malaysia today (22 September) as reported by the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of cases to 10,358 cases. There are currently 665 active cases and 168 new recovered cases.

There are 60 cases in Sabah, 41 from Kluster Benteng LD (34 Malaysians), 6 from Kluster Pulau (5 Malaysians), 6 from Kluster Selamat (3 Malaysians) and 5 from Kluster Bangau-Bangau (4 Malaysians), a new cluster found in Semporna, Sabah.

In Kedah, there are ten cases and nine of them are from Kluster Sungai.

Out of the 82 cases, 72 are local transmissions and there are ten imported cases.

There is no addition of death cases today, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia remains 130 cases.
