Mid Valley Reports Another Covid-19 Case, This Time It’s An Employee From Machines

Another person from Mid Valley is confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19 today (12 October).

The patient is an employee from Machines, an Apple re-selling retail company located on the Ground floor of the mall. “The employee has not been at work since clocking out on 8 October 2020,” read a statement posted by Machines management on their Facebook.

On 10 October 2020, he informed the management that there were positive Covid-19 cases in the block of flats where he resides. He was arranged to go for swab-testing and put under self-quarantine.

“We are working closely with KKM to identify contacts for testing and quarantine,” added the statement by Machines. They said that wider precautionary testing in the interest of the safety of employees and customers will be conducted and the outlet will be closed for disinfection until further notice.

“We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to adhere to KKM’s and MKN’s guidelines and SOPs to deter the spread of the disease and keep our community safe.”
