Most Malaysians love the sweet, sour and savoury taste profiles of Thai cuisine and a lot of us favour their tom yam. Other than that, we also love their Phad Thai which is considered one of Thailand’s national dishes.
Hailing from Bangkok, Baan Phadthai Bangkok was awarded the prestigious Bib Gourmand in the 2018 Bangkok Michelin Guide, right after its opening! What a feat!
According to Michelin, the Bib Gourmand is awarded to restaurants that serve good quality food at a low price point!
The restaurant has since received the award 5 years in a row up to 2022 which proves their dedication and consistency in serving the very best Phad Thai.
“Before Baan Phadthai opened in 2018 the founder spent months sourcing the very best raw materials to create the perfect recipe.”
“One very important ingredient is the secret and delicate 18-ingredients sauce cooked together with the very best quality of “Sen Jan” rice noodles.”
Baan Phadthai will be opening their first restaurant in Malaysia at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur!
The first branch of Baan Phadthai in Kuala Lumpur is pork-free and located at Connection Precinct, Level 3, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
The CEO of Retail, Pavilion KL, Dato’ Joyce Yap has said,
“Baan Phadthai is a multiple award-winning MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurant, and the first in Malaysia at Pavilion KL, reinforcing our commitment to providing diners with a truly international, authentic and enjoyable dining experience.”
Let’s look at some of the menu items other than Phad Thai, shall we?
To wash all the Thai yumminess down, they also offer a great selection of refreshing drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
And what is the best way to end the meal other than with desserts?
