WATCH: Mercedes Driver Making Illegal U-Turn in Kelantan Almost Causes Another Driver’s Life!

We never know how our negligence on the road can cause trouble to others. Illegal U-turn, for instance, has caused many regrets and grief.

A Facebook group recently shared dashcam footage of a car that hit a street light after avoiding a white Mercedes that made a U-turn illegally. The driver wanted to avoid hitting the white Mercedes, but at the cost of damaging his own car and the street light right in front of a restaurant known as Coffee Squad in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

The light bulb of the street light was also seen falling on the ground, and the driver of the white Mercedes immediately sped off.

In the Facebook post of the victim, he shared a series of images that shows the damages on his car, as well as the car plate number of the white Mercedes that sped off, thanks to the courtesy of the netizens.

In a quick update at the end of the post, the victim revealed that he has managed to locate the driver of the white Mercedes, who agreed to compensate for the damages.

“Both are responsible for the accident”

In the dashcam footage that was shared by the Facebook group, many netizens expressed what they thought about the incident, with some blaming the driver of the white Mercedes for making an illegal U-turn, while others said that the victim shouldn’t have driven too fast.

“I would’ve just hit him.”

“The owner of the dashcam footage was calm. He didn’t even say anything.”

“The white car is wrong for making an illegal U-turn at the double line. The victim is wrong for speeding. The street light, on the other hand, is innocent.”

“I think the victim drove too fast on a busy road.”

Regardless, we’re glad the driver of the white Mercedes has been found and he has agreed to take responsibility. This shall serve as a reminder to anyone who takes pride in making an illegal U-turn all the time.
