Massive Crowds & Congested Traffic At Kuala Selangor Beach Raises Concern Among M’sians

Recently, pictures of heavy traffic showing road users making their way to Pantai Remis, Jeram Kuala Selangor, have gone viral on social media.

The pictures, taken by a netizen named Farid Samad, were shared on Love Kuala Selangor’s Facebook page. The post has garnered over 3,400 shares, 2,3000 likes and 2,400 comments at the time of writing.

The Facebook page wrote in their post:

“Traffic situation in and out from the beach area, Pantai Remis Jeram yesterday evening (12 September)”

“The pandemic isn’t over”

Many netizens took to the comments section to express their thoughts on these massive crowds at the beach, reminding people that although there are relaxed SOPs in place, the pandemic is still not over.

Other netizens also expressed their concerns about the cleanliness of the beach, giving gentle reminders in the comment section to ensure people clean up after themselves.
