A man who was looking at his phone while walking hit a reversing car. Afterwards, he pretended to fall.
The matter happened in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, on Wednesday (25 November), and it was captured on the dashcam of one of the cars that was parked in the area.

A man was caught pretending to fall after he walked into a reversing car
The dashcam footage circulated after it was shared on the Facebook page of Singapore Road Vigilante, which has amassed nearly 180,000 views at the time of writing.
In the video, the man who was on his phone ‘fell’ onto the ground, making it look as if he was hit by the vehicle.
However, the footage shows that the driver had stopped right before the man hit the car at its rear right side. The driver then disembarked from his vehicle to check on the man.
According to the caption of the post, the man who fell decided not to ‘pursue’ the matter as he noticed his actions may have been recorded.
His ‘injuries’ disappeared when he returned to the area
The post also mentioned that those who don’t have a dashcam installed in their cars may face a bigger issue, where the man could ask for compensation for ‘accidents’.

After realising that the scene was possibly recorded, the man walked away ‘limping’, but came back to the area later with his ‘injuries’ gone.
“This time, he walked hurriedly, and his limp was gone,” the post remarked.
The post was shared in the hopes of raising awareness among the motorists, especially those in the Ang Mo Kio area.
