A 44-year-old palm oil plantation worker in Johor has been arrested by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) over allegations of sexually assaulting his two underage daughters over a span of 11 years.
The assaults reportedly began when the girls were just 5 and 6 years old and took place at the family’s home within the plantation. The elder daughter, now 16, was allegedly last assaulted in May 2025, while the younger daughter, now 17, was last assaulted in 2022.

According to initial reports, the assaults occurred when the mother was either asleep or away from home. The suspect allegedly threatened the girls to keep silent, and due to his temper, they felt compelled not to speak out. The mother was reportedly unaware of the abuse.
The case came to light after one of the victims confided in a teacher, prompting further investigation.
The suspect was brought before the magistrate court today (June 21) and has been remanded until June 27, as reported. The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code, which pertains to rape.
