Well, we definitely know this man’s answer to the girlfriend’s hypothetical question, “it’s me or the PS5?”.

Tragedy struck Morocco on Friday (8 September) as a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the country, sending citizens rushing into the streets to not get caught in any rubble from collapsing buildings.

As reported by the BBC, more than 2,000 people have tragically died from the natural disaster as of today.

However, amidst the chaos, there was one particular photo during the earthquake that caught the attention of people worldwide, depicting a man wearing nothing but his shorts evacuating his house to the street.

This is because when the strong tremors occurred, the man evacuated his home with his most valuable possession: the Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) gaming console.

As shared by Oussama Larh on Twitter, the man can be seen holding the PS5 tightly with his two hands while on the street with other nearby residents. The tweet reads,

“This guy left the house with his PS5 after a strong earthquake hit Morocco”

As of the time of writing, the tweet has gone viral with over 60,600 likes and more than 10,000 reposts, with many netizens amused by the man’s action, with many joking that the man has gotten his priorities right.

One reply put into words the absurdity of the situation, saying that it’s insane that the man evacuated with a PS5 with no t-shirt and barefoot on the concrete, but he “understands” the man’s action. Meanwhile, another reply said that one’s got to save what’s valuable to them.

So, what do you guys think of the man saving his PS5 during an earthquake? What would you do if you were in his situation? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
