Every year, we eagerly count down the days till McDonald’s highly-addictive McShaker fries make its reappearance on their daily menu. Unfortunately, McShaker fries are a seasonal item that is only available for a limited time. But what happens when you’re craving for your favourite fries and they’re not on sale?
Well, a Twitter user, Akeem (@AkeemSharyzal) might have a solution to that problem. If you can’t buy McShaker fries, just make them using this homemade recipe!

Everyone knows McDonald’s has many variations of their beloved McShaker fries. According to Akeem, this is a quick and easy recipe that will recreate the spicy rendition. The only ingredients you’ll need are:
- French fries
- Sugar
- Baba’s Chili Powder
Steps:
1) Deep fry the french fries for a short period of time and put them on a plate.
2) Mix the fries with the dry seasoning to taste.
Akeem said he tried the recipe twice and recommends using more chilli powder if your tastebuds are on the spicier side! He also added a video in the thread of his tweet to show netizens how it’s done.
