A lorry driver hit a concrete barrier on the DUKE (Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway), causing it to fall onto a Perodua Kenari parked underneath the expressway.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon (September 6). According to the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief ACP Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa, the lorry driver is believed to have lost control of his vehicle before crashing into the barrier.

Fortunately, no deaths or injuries were reported

The investigation is being conducted under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

The school’s security guard also heard the noise of the fall, so, out of safety concerns, he closed off the area temporarily.

“I was worried about more debris falling down, so I closed off the area and waited for the police.”
