Among the 202 individuals arrested in the “men-only” spa in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, on Friday night (28 November), a small number of them were civil servants, doctors, and teachers.
Mohd Fadli Salleh, who is a former teacher himself, believed that the teachers who were arrested that night should be transferred to other departments, with no access to students. To him, it is dangerous when an educator has deviant sexual desires, and he said that a lot can happen, especially when the teachers talk to the students every day.

“They have unlimited access to victims and can groom them until the victims eventually become targets of those desires.”
In his Facebook post last night (30 November), Fadli mentioned that out of the four arrested teachers, three of them taught in secondary schools, where they face thousands of teenagers daily.
“It’s like putting a wolf in charge of guarding sheep.”
In response to the comments of other social media users, Fadli expressed that he, too, agreed that the teachers should not have any access to the students who are still naive and easily deceived. Fadli suggested transferring the teachers to the District’s Education Office (PPD) or the National Registration Department (JPN) for office work. Essentially, no more classroom duties for the teachers.
However, the presence of teachers in the spa was not his only concern.
“60% of those arrested are Muslim men. One of them is only 19 years old, and some are 60 years old. Please repent, Atok (Grandpa),” Fadli expressed his regret.

Screen for HIV or STDs
In another Facebook post, Fadli also said the men, especially those who are married and caught in the spa, should screen themselves for HIV or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). He also suggested that the wives temporarily refrain from sleeping together with their respective husbands.
“The wife is not at fault for asking for separate beds when her husband openly and deliberately has sex with other men, who are the main source of HIV in Malaysia.”
Earlier, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) said that all local men arrested in the raid have been released after none declared themselves victims. The remaining foreign suspects were also released after a 2-day remand.
