“Left with 0 sen” – M’sian Widower Gives ALL of His EPF Funds to New GF Who Then Went MIA

Your retirement fund is there to help you through your old days after you bid farewell to your working life. Unfortunately, a Malaysian widower lost ALL his EPF savings after meeting a woman.

Years and years of hard work and savings, and after a long period of being single following his previous marriage, the man’s retirement funds were gone with the wind. According to a post shared by Hasnan Rili on Facebook, the man transferred his entire EPF fund to his new girlfriend after being convinced to do so.

The amount was not specified, but we don’t need to figure out how much the man had lost after working for a few decades.

“He became poor once he got into a relationship. After the money was transferred, the woman disappeared with his money. He couldn’t reach the woman, and he doesn’t even have a cent left.”

Who wouldn’t be upset when the entire fund is gone? The man got depressed, and he has to meet with his psychiatrist every month to keep himself on track, emotionally and mentally.

Hasnan also urged other men to be careful with their money, as the number of love scams is on the rise.

 

Love can be beautiful, but it can also blind you when you’re not thinking clearly.
