Kuala Langat and Sepang To Have Scheduled Water Disruptions on 24 November

Before you start worrying, this scheduled water cut might just be the last few in a long while!

In a press statement  released on the 16th of November, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) announced that a water supply disruption will be scheduled to take place at 9pm on 24 November for the distribution pipe located at Jalan Indah 1, Jalan B48 Pekan Sepang Lama. This disruption will last until 5pm the following day, 25 November.

A total of 27 areas located in Kuala Langat and Sepang regions will be affected by this water disruption during this time. In particular, the affected areas include:

KUALA LANGAT REGION

Kampung Kundang  Gadong Estate Quarters  Kampung Batu Untung
Tanjung Sepat New Village  Kampung Batu Laut  Taman Batu Untung
Taman Pelangi  Stone Farm  Tanjung Park
Taman Tanjung Sepat Indah  Kampung Orang Asli Tanjung Sepat  Pearl Park
Bedford Farm  Kampung Tanjung Sepat Darat  Kampung Tumbuk
Kampung Tanjung Layang  Tanjung Sepat Police Officer  Kanchong Laut Park

 

SEPANG REGION

Kampung Bukit Bangkong  Kampung Hulu Teris  Kampung Ulu Chuchoh

Valve replacement work will be implemented on the pipes during this period, hence the scheduled water cuts. This is to ensure the water pipes continue to run smoothly in the future, avoiding any unwarranted water disruptions from occurring. Air Selangor urges those located in the affected areas to be conscious of their water usage during the scheduled water supply disruption period.
