According to Malay Mail, Tengku Adnan would be charged today (15 November) over 97 questionable land deals involving Kuala Lumpur City Hall worth RM5.63 billion, as a special task force has been ordered to investigate the 97 transactions.

Based on investigations, 14 deals have been terminated while 15 were renegotiated, causing an additional revenue of RM49 million, according to The Star.

Tengku Adnan will be spending the night at MACC’s holding room as he will have to be present at the Kuala Lumpur courthouse tomorrow at 3pm to face his charges.

He even admitted that he was summoned by MACC more than 12 times in the past to assist with investigations.

He claimed that he has nothing to do with the approval of land deals between KL City Hall and private developers because he had already handed the land back to Putrajaya when he took over the role of Federal Territories minister.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more updates!
