KJ: Pfizer Vaccine Has Been Approved For Children Aged 5 To 11

Children aged 5 to 11 will be able to obtain their Covid-19 vaccinations soon!

Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, shared in a press conference that the Drug Control Authority (PBKD) has approved the conditional registration for kids of the above mentioned ages.

DCA has approved the use of the Pfizer vaccine for children aged 5 to 11. And we will announce (when) soon, we are in discussions with Pfizer’s people in regards to the delivery schedule.”

Based on a statement shared by the Ministry of Health, the Pfizer vaccine these kids will receive is COMIRNATY 10mcg, which is not as strong as the normal vaccine given to adults aged 18 and above.
