With meat alternatives appearing in our market more frequently these days, KFC has stepped up their game by bringing in their meat-free chicken patty!
The product is called a KFC Zero Chicken Burger. The burger is made up of a meat-free chicken patty that utilises the famed 11 herbs and spices in addition to a tangy barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, lettuce, and a slice of cheese!
This product has already been launched in different parts of the world including Singapore on 13 January 2021. KFC Singapore states that the KFC Zero Chicken Burger contains wheat, egg, dairy, soybean, gluten, and MSG.
In a video on the KFC Malaysia page, they said that this product will be available to the public on 9 February 2021. We can’t wait to try it!
KFC has commented on a post by the Facebook page “I Love Malaysian Food” and said:
“Just to share, it (the burger) is neither vegan or vegetarian as it is freshly made and prepared the same way as our other delicious KFC meals.”
Will you be trying this burger when it launches? As for us, we’ll definitely try it!
