Ipoh District Polie Chief Assistant Commissioner Yahaya Hassan said that the police officer from the Kedah contingent will be remanded today. He added that this case will be investigated from many angles, not excluding criminal for causing the death of an individual under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

“PDRM will not harbour anyone including their own officers if there is solid proof.”

According to the post-mortem, the teen’s cause of death is an injury to the chest and abdomen from the road accident.

He also urges everyone not to speculate or cause public unrest, which could disrupt the investigations.
