Just recently, the Immigration department has published a Facebook post informing netizens that their working hours have been tweaked to accommodate the high influx of passport renewals.
According to their post, these are the newest timing for ALL states and branches:
UTC Branches:
- Perlis: 8-5pm (Monday – Saturday)
- Terengganu: 8-5pm (Monday – Saturday)
- Pahang: 8-5pm (Monday – Saturday)
- Kedah: 8-5pm (Monday – Saturday)
- Kuala Lumpur: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Selangor: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Melaka: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Negeri Sembilan: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Kelantan: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Putrajaya: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Perak: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Johor: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)
- Penang: 8-9pm (Monday – Friday), 8-5pm (Saturday)

ALL passport renewals must be collected within 90 days or will be subject to cancellation.
