The question of who is bound to win the GE15 continues to become a discussion among many Malaysians. While some studies have shown that Pakatan Harapan may once again become the government, caretaker Prime Minister Ismail Sabri has something else in mind.

“We can form a government by tonight itself”

After casting the votes with his wife this morning at a school in Kerayong, Pahang, Sabri expressed his confidence and said that Barisan Nasional (BN) will win the election today and form a government by tonight itself. If that happens, BN will still continue its cooperation with the Sarawak Party Association (GPS) and the Sabah People’s Association (GRS).

“If we are able to get 112 chairs to form a government with a simple majority, we will do so tonight,” Sabri said.

Whether the BN empire could be formed alone or if it’s necessary to combine other parties, apart from GPS and GRS, Sabri said that only the highest leadership of the party would decide.

It’s a harmonious election

In the meantime, Sabri also expressed his gratitude as he believes that the election process is proceeding smoothly without any provocation from the competing parties, and he wants the peaceful vibes to continue even after the election has ended, reported Berita Harian.

“So far, no fraud has been reported and I am satisfied with the ongoing process of GE15.”

Fellow Malaysians, do you think BN will once again form a government tonight after its defeat in GE14? Do you agree with Sabri’s take on the vibes of election day?
