With Namewee breaking his silence following his release on police bail, Iris Hsieh’s friend, Vivian, shared her thoughts on the matter and said she believed that Namewee did not murder the Taiwanese influencer.
The Malaysian singer was arrested by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on 22 October inside a hotel room in Kuala Lumpur, where Iris was found dead. The police also found drugs on Namewee before he tested positive for four illegal substances.

Regardless, Vivian believed that Namewee wouldn’t have ruined his fame and career, which he had built over the years, by murdering anyone.
However, Vivian said that Namewee is still at fault.
In her thoughts shared on her Instagram story last night (14 November), Vivian said that she believed that someone with fame and wealth, in his conscious, will not ruin his life by committing murder.
Despite what she believes, Namewee was there in the hotel room when Iris breathed her last, and that’s where Vivian thinks that the Malaysian singer is still at fault.
“Iris was by Namewee’s side. I believe that both of them should’ve taken care of each other. That’s why I said, there are still faults.”
“I am not the judge. I am not Detective Conan. I have emotions and regrets, too.”

In her story, Vivian also shared that her only hope for now is that Iris could return home. At the time being, Iris’s body is still at the morgue in Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
PDRM is still waiting for the autopsy and toxicology report, and Namewee’s release is only temporary, which is expected to last until 26 November.
In his earlier statement, Namewee claimed that he found Iris unconscious in the bathtub, and he tried his best by performing CPR on her, but to no avail. He then called the ambulance through MERS999.
