IKEA SG Is Looking To Hire A Manager & The Salary Is Up To RM43,000 Per Month!

IKEA Singapore is hiring a full-time selling manager and the salary offered is from $9,150 to $14,250 (approximately RM27296 to RM43,476) per month. This whopping amount of wage is eye-opening and it is a huge paycheck for many.

To fulfill IKEA’s vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people” in Singapore, the company is looking for a retail sales professional who can secure long-term profitability and with five years of experience.

According to the job offer posted on the country’s government website, the responsibilities of the position are to optimise sales, work with other departments to develop long-term strategies, satisfy the customers’ needs, and more. You can check out the full job description on MyCareersFuture.

Nevertheless, the job applicant must have solid experience as an IKEA Store Sales Manager or Sales experience in Service Office as well as understand the roles and tasks of the selling team in IKEA.

The person must also have strong leadership, is self-motivated, good at problem-solving, can engage with people at all levels, and more. Earning an up to RM43k monthly salary is not an easy task after all.

At the time of writing, there are already 143 applications submitted and the application will be closed on 25 October 2020.

While many businesses are negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, things seem to be going in fine shape for this famous furniture retail company in Singapore. According to TheStraitsTimes, the third IKEA outlet in Singapore is expected to open in the year 2021. IKEA Singapore is also hiring 200 new staff for its new store in Jurong town.
