Aside from furniture, IKEA is also well known for serving juicy meatballs with a generous portion of gravy and mashed potatoes.

But what most people may not be aware of is the new trend that has just emerged in IKEA – the black and shiny soft serve and charcoal chicken sausage sandwiched in a charcoal bun. To spice things up, the chicken sausage is drizzled with oozy cheese sauce which will excite cheese lovers!

The charcoal chicken sausage was first launched in IKEA Singapore on November 1, and it is said to be longer than a regular hotdog. And yes, we know what you’re thinking. Both charcoal chicken sausage and charcoal soft serve are available in IKEA Malaysia!

According to IKEA’s Malaysia official website, both of the seasonal items will be available from 1 November till 31 December this year. That means visitors still have more than a month’s time to grab these snacks before they are withdrawn from the menu.

The best part is how cheap the prices are for both of the items. With only RM1.90, you can complete your meal with the charcoal soft serve as a dessert. In the meantime, the charcoal chicken sausage is available at the price of RM3.90.

With a slightly lower price of RM5.50, you can get both items as a package!

Additionally, this is not the first time where IKEA has launched black-coloured food. Back in 2016, IKEA Japan had already made the similar charcoal chicken sausage available for its patrons, as reported by Insider.

They say once you go black, you can never go back.

Will you be giving these new items a try? Let us know in the comments below!
