The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has informed that only amendments to increase the withdrawal amount will be allowed to be made for i-Sinar withdrawals. According to their official Twitter account, EPF members can make the amendment starting March 8, 2021, which is tomorrow. As stated in the tweet,

“For those of you who did not choose the correct amount when the original application was made, you can start making amendments starting March 8, 2021 through i-Sinar Online.”

However, EPF also informed that the amendment can only be made once and can only increase the withdrawal amount. The increase made will still have to be based on the maximum amount allowed when the original application was made.

So, if you have received your i-Sinar and if you’re eligible to increase your withdrawal amount, would you do so? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section!
