Huawei did it with the Mate 20 Pro, and now it’s included its latest releases – Huawei P30 and P30 Pro as well.
What are we talking about? Wireless charging support!
Wait a second – did we just say the Huawei P30 supports wireless charging as well? You read that right. It was announced upon its release that only the Huawei P30 Pro would be enabled for wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. However, the company has found a way to make sure that the entry-level Huawei P30 isn’t left out as well!
Protects AND charges your phone wirelessly
The game-changer is this smartphone case, released by Huawei itself. Apart from protecting your phone from the elements, it also allows you to charge your P30 on wireless charging devices!
Also, it supports 10w quick charging, so you only need a short period of time to give your phone enough juice that will power it through the rest of the day.
Technology really is magic for the modern times.
Here’s a look at the phone case:
Pretty snazzy design, we must say!Designed for safety and convenience-on-the-go
It’s more than a pretty face too, as its perforated texture of the phone makes gripping the phone feel that much more secure, especially for those of us with butter fingers.
It’s also received TÜV Rheinland safety certification and QI certification, which basically means your wireless charging experience is guaranteed for utmost safety. There won’t be any short circuiting with this one, that’s for sure!
There’s more. The case is embedded with its own magnet, so you can attach it to any magnetic car phone holder you have. Just press the phone against your holder, and voila! Total ease and convenience for your work commute, or that long-awaited road trip with your geng.
Think of how easy it’ll be to charge your Huawei in the future! The case comes in two vibrant colours – orange and green. While we have yet to get the lowdown on how much it costs and where we can buy it, it’s most likely only a matter of time before we find out, as the P30 series has just been launched on April 2! We’ll be updating this space with more details as we get them, so stay tuned! For more info on other Huawei-related products, click here.
