In celebration of Nobu’s 30th anniversary, Nobu Kuala Lumpur is thrilled to present an exclusive 30-Year-Anniversary Omakase, a meticulously crafted dining experience that honours the rich culinary journey of Nobu’s globally renowned fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavours. Available across all Nobu establishments globally from 7 to 13 October, this omakase offers diners a unique opportunity to savour both timeless Nobu classics and innovative modern creations, curated with passion and precision.

The menu reflects Nobu’s iconic history while embracing the future of fine dining, showcasing the artistry that has made Nobu a world leader in contemporary cuisine. Chef Nobu’s philosophy of humility, gratitude, and hospitality is reflected in every dish, with flavours and techniques that span across the globe.

“We are very excited to celebrate this incredible milestone at our Nobu Restaurants and Hotels around the world,” said Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. “When designing these menus, we wanted to honour our journey, the dedication of our team members, and the incredible support we’ve received from our guests over the past 30 years. Many of these dishes are based on some of my earliest creations, so they are very close to my heart.”

30 years of greatest hits in one omakase

At the heart of the omakase is the Yontenmori, a stunning presentation featuring four beloved Nobu classics: the luxurious Toro Tartare with Caviar, a dish that melts in the mouth with the perfect balance of richness and freshness; the iconic Yellowtail Jalapeño, which has long delighted diners with its delicate slices of fresh fish, spiced with just the right amount of heat and citrus zing. Guests will also indulge in the Salmon Tataki with Karashi Sumiso, bringing a creamy, mustardy kick, as well as the refreshing Seabass Tiradito, a perfect marriage of Japanese technique and Peruvian flair.

Moving through the menu, diners will be treated to Nobu’s innovative touch with modern twists such as the Nori Taco with Caviar. This inventive dish encapsulates Nobu’s ability to merge casual fun with luxurious ingredients, combining the crispy texture of the nori shell with the briny indulgence of caviar. Diners will also delight in both the classic Black Cod Butter Lettuce and King Crab with Amazu Ponzu, reminding diners why these dishes have stood the test of time – flawlessly balanced in flavour and texture.

To complete the meal, guests can savour an array of indulgent desserts, including the decadent Strawberry Cheesecake, the light yet luxurious Milk Chocolate and Sesame Cream, and the playful Mochido, a fusion of mochi and the traditional doughnut. Each dessert is carefully crafted to end the omakase on a sweet and memorable note, leaving guests with a lasting impression of Nobu’s ability to blend creativity with tradition.
