A marriage that lasts is the best. Years or decades down the road, we’ll look back on the journey that has taken us this far, reminisce how much we have been through with our respective partners, and acknowledge that it’s not all just about the good days.

On January 4, Hannah Yeoh shared a heartwarming clip on her Facebook, which shows a snippet of her wedding, which took place 16 years ago in 2008. The big day took place in the St. Peter’s Church, Bangsar when Hannah was 29 when she married her soulmate. Ramachandran M, an IT entrepreneur.

“The Lord has promised good to me,” Hannah said in her post.

Almost every year, Hannah has never missed sharing her wedding anniversary on social media, where she thanks his presence, which has constantly pushed Hannah to be the best version of herself, according to one of her Instagram posts.

“My constant challenger and my strongest critic – for me to be the best version of me.”

“Our love defies logic”

According to Salt & Light, Hannah described her marriage as a huge contrast to how people usually date. For Hannah and Ram, the dating part came only after the engagement.

“Romance and love only came about after our decision to marry. The first time we held hands was after we got engaged.”

She also said that a lot of aspects of her love life with Ram defy logic. Nevertheless, the love between the pair has never left, and they stay happy until this day.

Happy 16th anniversary! It’s always heartwarming to see married couples taking a trip down memory lane to recall how much the journey has made them stronger.
