The Thai traffic police carried out their due diligence and clamped 4 Singapore-registered supercars that were parked illegally on the roadside, despite the no-parking sign.

The cars were illegally parked outside a restaurant in Phuket, Thailand, and the luxury cars were clamped as shown in a viral video. Despite the red & white kerbs, which indicate a strict no-parking zone, the drivers of the supercars ignored the sign and left their vehicles there.
The Facebook video shows 4 Nissan GTRs with Singapore vehicle registration numbers.

Officers confirmed that all the vehicles had foreign license plates and summoned the drivers before clamping the cars’ wheels.
One of them had the words “GTR Owners Club Singapore” on its rear. The drivers were issued with fines on the spot and told to move their cars away. The local police once again reminded everyone that the red & white kerbs signify a NO PARKING zone, which applies to all kinds of vehicles.
The fines were between 500 baht and 1,000 baht (approximately RM65 to RM129) each, reported The Phuket Express and The Thaiger.

Previously, a group of Malaysians were also slapped with fines by the Thai police after they were caught for illegal racing at night, which caused disturbance among the locals.
This shall serve as a reminder to everyone that all rules should be followed, regardless of where we are.
