Speaking to another human being is not a ‘chore’ introverts love to do. Finding bliss in solitude, Grab has introduced a new Quiet Ride option to help make commutes bearable for introverts, wherever they are.
Definitely a more convenient and simpler way to tell your driver that you’d rather stay quiet the whole duration of your ride, all you need to do is just reply “Quiet Ride” when you receive the auto-generated message in the GrabChat upon confirmation of your Grab booking.
“Quiet Ride gives passengers the option to request a conversation-free ride.”
“You’ll be informed of this conversation preference via GrabChat when the ride is confirmed.”
Still under trial in Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, the Quiet Ride option does not mean the driver does not speak to you at all, but conversations will be more for the bare necessities such as air-conditioning setting, radio station selection, etc.
