Looking for somewhere special to usher in this Gong Xi Ramadan? Look no further than this mosque in Klang, which bears a striking resemblance to a traditional Chinese temple.
Tourism Malaysia recently took to Facebook to shine a spotlight on the Klang Chinese Muslim Jamek Mosque, a stunning landmark that gorgeously fuses Islamic and Chinese influences.


They wrote:
“An assimilation of culture and religion, the Masjid Jamek Cina Muslim is the perfect place to celebrate your Gong Xi Ramadan.
“Inspired by ancient Chinese architecture, this mosque conveys the perfect blend of cultural identity and the values of Islam. A perfect addition for your mosque-hunting experience.”
Visiting the mosque

The Klang Chinese Muslim Jamek Mosque is a community mosque that welcomes all Muslims in Klang, offering prayer spaces, study classes, cultural programmes, and community activities that promote unity and the development of faith.
The 2.98-acre site is also designated as a “tourist mosque,” allowing both local and foreign visitors to drop in and explore. According to the mosque’s website, they also provide tour guide services to help visitors understand the history, architecture, and Chinese Muslim heritage in Malaysia.


While the mosque is open from 6 AM to 10 PM daily, non-Muslims are requested to visit during specific windows to respect prayer times. The visiting hours for non-Muslims are:
- 9 AM to 12 PM
- 2 PM to 4 PM
- 5 PM to 6 PM
