Just recently, a netizen has posted a post on a confession page regarding her relationship with her bf.
In her post, she said:
” It’s so frustrating to date someone useless, this is something that just happened, please let me know what you think.”
“My boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year and I manage his salary every month.”
“After paying off rent and utility bills there isn’t much left from his salary. He earns about TWD30,000 (RM4,450) which isn’t a lot.”
“I’ve set a rule with him that he must treat me to a good meal once every month and he has agreed to do so.”
“Last month, we didn’t get to go as he needed the money to fix his car. I feel like having hotpot buffet for dinner today and I asked him to bring me (there) tonight.”
“He told me that he doesn’t have enough money and asked me to wait for 3 days until his salary comes in.”
“What if I don’t want to eat that 3 days later? Why can’t he just borrow some money from his colleagues and bring me for a meal?”
“Should I break up with him?”
Many netizens found it ridiculous and here’s what some of them said:
“Is having a good meal that important? You’re so unreasonable”
“Are you a beggar? Don’t you have your own money? You embarrass us women.”
“Just hurry up and break up, stop hurting people”
“He needs to break up with you to regain his freedom.”
As social media users, we’d occasionally stumble across different types of ‘confessions’ on Facebook. Some may be serious, amusing, or outright ridiculous. As it’s an anonymous post, we also remind everyone to take it with a pinch of salt.
