Malaysians can now enjoy world-class attractions at the newly launched SplashMania Waterpark in Gamuda Cove!

This highly-anticipated water park has finally opened its doors to the public to reveal some incredible attractions including a first-in-Malaysia VR slide! The park was soft-launched on 6th February 2023 and Malaysians have been loving it! Now, SplashMania has announced that the park is officially launching on 2nd July 2023 with all of their slides being fully operational and open to the public!

1. Explore not one… not two… but 24 water slides!

The hype around SplashMania is definitely real as the water park features a whopping 24 thrilling water slides! Not only are they considered world-class rides, but some of them are also the first of their kind in Malaysia! Here’s what awaits you:

Meet Monsta and Twista – the park’s signature slides!

One of the highlights of SplashMania is their signature slides called Monsta and Twista which promise thrill seekers exhilarating twists and turns through the curves, drops, and bowl-shaped slides.

The first-in-Malaysia Atlantis VR slide

Experience a new kind of fun with Malaysia’s first virtual reality (VR) slide – the Atlantis VR – where riders will don VR headgear and go on a 250-meter virtual journey through the Lost City of Atlantis.

Enjoy mini slides designed for kids

Planning to visit the park with kids? Worry not! The park features a Kids Adventure zone where there are mini slides available such as the Mini Mania, Mini Monsta and Tiny Twista. You can also find the Treasure Tower which is the tallest water play structure in Malaysia consisting of multiple water slides for kids.

Apart from the slides we mentioned above, there are also other not-to-be-missed slides that you can find at the park, including the Spills & Thrills, Maniac Racers, Sumaumeira Drop, Shaka Waka, Wild Rush, Curl & Swirl, and many more. These slides will definitely satisfy the thrill-seeker in you!

2. The fun continues with 15 must-visit key attractions

Other than the water slides, the park also features other attractions located around the park such as the Ravage River area. This family-friendly water attraction is where you can find eight rainforest-style attractions, including the Bubbly Dip, Monsoon, Wave Ball Pool, and more.

There are also other interesting attractions that you can enjoy such as:

  • Omba’King’s Cove – A wave pool located below the Amazonia ship where visitors can chill while watching performances happening on Amazonia’s stage.
  • Splash Sploosh – A water fountain splash pad that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults.
  • Swaggy’s Cliff – A 12-meter tall structure to test your wall-climbing skills. There’s also a two-meter tall, kid-friendly version available!
  • Surf Mania – A pay-per-ride attraction where you can practise your surfing skills at this surf pool and try to withstand the test of the rocky waves.

3. Visit the Amazonia ship – SplashMania’s crown jewel!

Another main highlight of the park is the Amazonia ship! The stunning multi-levelled ship is not just for decoration purposes but it also holds an event space, a restaurant, water slides and more. You can even recreate the iconic Titanic Experience by taking a photo on the platform at the edge of the ship complete with a stunning overview of the park in the background.

There are also several pay-per-ride attractions coming soon on the ship such as the Sky Leap (bungee jump from the captain’s deck of the ship into the pool below) and Zoomi’s Runway (get the best view overlooking the park as you zoom across it from the deck of the ship).

 

4. Indulge in their unique food and beverage offerings

The park also comes with several food and beverage options so you can stay hydrated and energised! Some of the choices available include:

  • Jungle Jamboree – A food court consisting of various cuisines from local Malaysian delights to fast food and Western cuisine.
  • Zoomi’s Shack – A restaurant featuring Louisiana food, coconut-based refreshments and even Korean street snacks.
  • Swaggy’s – This kiosk will be serving waffles, corn dogs and sweetcorn which are definitely a staple for a day out at a water park.
  • Bikini Beans (coming soon!) – Get your caffeine fix along with pastries and other sweet treats while enjoying a view of the Amazonia ship.
  • Racer 1 and Racer 2 (coming soon!) – These refreshment push carts will serve some classic water park treats such as popcorn, waffles, corn-in-a-cup and other quick snacks and cold beverages.
  • The Throne (coming soon!) – Craving for a quick bite for an energy boost? Head to this kiosk to find nuggets, chicken popcorn and hotdogs.

 

5. Get lower-priced tickets thanks to their online seasonal tickets

It’s true! You can grab lower-priced tickets thanks to their online seasonal ticket system! The online tickets will be determined by “low seasons”, “mid seasons” and “peak seasons” with tickets priced:

  • From RM81 – online ticket purchases
  • From RM95 – walk-in ticket purchases

The online seasonal tickets will be available from 1st July 2023 onwards.

The admission ticket also comes with a cool bonus – FREE unlimited digital photos of yourself at the park, which you can redeem by downloading the GL Play App (available on App Store & Google Play). The water park uses facial recognition technology via the GL Clix features to capture guests’ happy moments in the park. This way, you can focus on having fun and still have photos of yourself to memorialise your fun day out!
