A foreign man is trying to locate his two children after they went missing in Malaysia over six months ago.
In a series of Facebook posts, Dan Guerrard, a music teacher, has called for the public’s help in identifying his children’s whereabouts.

Father appeals for help to locate missing children last seen in Kuala Lumpur
In one post, he revealed that his children, Miranda and Freddie, aged 8 and 5, have been missing for over six months as of the time of writing.
He shared:
“They are somewhere in Malaysia. If you see these children, could you please let me know by direct message or by contacting the local police? Feel free to share this information so we can bring them home.”
He clarified that the children went missing on 3 August 2025 while in Kuala Lumpur. Dan also included the contact information for a Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) investigating officer, Insp. Syuhada from the Timur Laut District Police Headquarters (IPD).
A potential custody battle

In the comment section of one of his posts, Dan explained that his children have not been seen at their school since the end of the last academic year. He noted that judges have ordered the children to be returned to him, suggesting the incident may stem from a custody battle.
“They haven’t been to their school since the end of the last academic year. The judges in Canada and Malaysia have ordered that the children be returned. I am hoping someone will know where the children are located and tell the local police, so we can finally resolve this dreadful situation,” he wrote.
How you can help
If you encounter Miranda or Freddie, you can contact Dan at 017-4963596 or Insp. Syuhada at 04-2181822.
We genuinely hope the children are found safe and sound and are reunited with their father.
