Needless to say, a lot of us went nuts in the comments over how awesome it was to see the racer showing his face on a Malaysian billboard.

However, when we visited the real-life location in front of KLCC, the billboard was nowhere to be seen! Instead, we found it around the Bukit Bintang area, so it does exist lah. 😝

HAD to know the real reason(s) for this stunt! Little did we expect to find the answer on the Shell App — this is what we found:

Apparently, the viral video posted is part of Shell Malaysia’s Shell V-Power ‘Feel It All’ campaign, inviting Malaysians to experience Shell V-Power’s full performance and collect entries for a once-in-a-lifetime VIP Experience with Shell Motorsports in Singapore.

AND we heard that SIX lucky Malaysians could win an adventure of a lifetime to meet Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in Singapore and catch the Singapore GP 2025 F1 Race?

Biar betul wey?! 😱

Shell V-Power isn’t just a gateway to exclusive, money-can’t-buy experiences like the VIP escapade in Singapore; it’s the fuel of choice for discerning Malaysian drivers. Shell V-Power is designed to 100% clean critical engine parts and keep your engine performing like new, not to mention it’s 99% similar to the fuel used by the Scuderia Ferrari HP team in F1 races!

With over 100 years of fuel innovation heritage, you now know why Shell V-Power is the only fuel used, trusted and recommended by Scuderia Ferrari HP, Ducati Corse and the BMW M Series.
